Real beauty radiates from a person. Real beauty is captivating and mesmerising. Real beauty isn’t something that can be ignored or overlooked, and it isn’t a type of beauty that is subjective to what your physical likes and dislikes are, because the real beauty of your inner being is much more universal.
Have you ever been in a room and just noticed the radiating beauty of someone who just walked in? Have you ever been in the presence of someone who you’re just drawn to be around? Someone who radiates everything positive in the world? You might not be conscious of why you turn your head and look at that one person who enters the room, or you might not know why you are drawn to talk to someone or stand near that one person – but you do it anyway. It’s your inner being, your soul, recognising the beauty of that other person. It’s your internal compass that draws you in.
If you have the ability of being able to see auras or feel energy, then you might be more aware of what’s going on. If you can see auras, you’ll probably see the glow of that person’s aura and see how far it radiates out. (For most people, their aura or energy field, is quite close to their body and in some cases, can be hard to see.) And in radiates outwards, I’m talking in metres. Almost like that bright angelic light that they depict in movies. If you can feel energy (i.e. an empath), you’ll probably feel that person’s positive energy before you physically see them. You’ll feel their energy preceding their entrance, like an announcement. This kind of beauty, you cannot fake. This kind of beauty you cannot “create” by the use of beauty products, or change with the clothing you wear. This kind of beauty is about who you really are on the inside.
And just like being able to see real beauty, we can also see real ugliness. It’s that energy that comes across as murky and makes you feel like you need to walk the other way, or just stay away from that person. It’s the kind of energy that makes your skin crawl. Again, it’s your inner compass telling you that that kind of toxicity isn’t something that you want to be around. That energy festers and darkens everything beautiful around it, and like real beauty, it can’t be covered up or changed, unless that person, their very being, wants to change it. Kind of sounds cliché right? “Walk into the light” or something like that, but that phrase holds true in many ways.
But what about when that darkness and light cross paths? What happens when they mingle or interconnect? What then? Does that work like it does in the movies? The battle of “good” against “evil”? Well, that depends on the people involved, the strength of each and what each one is willing to let in. “Let in?” you might ask? Yes. I mean that in the literal sense. You are in control of what you allow in to your world, your being, and what you keep out. So whilst you’re not able to control the actions of the people that you come into contact with, you can control how you respond, how you react and what you take with you.
So how you know if you’ve “let in” something toxic, murky or negative in some way? Quite frankly, you’ll feel it on some level. If it’s not nice energy that you’ve taken with you after your encounter, you’ll feel heavy, sad, down, negative or flat. You might even feel tired or drained, and feel the need to hide out for a while. You’ll want to withdraw yourself from the world. It’s the exact opposite of what happens when you encounter the “light” or that radiance of positive energy. You walk away from that feeling happy, positive, light and maybe even free. You might even feel inspired to do something you love or take action on something you believe in. You don’t need to be someone who is sensitive to energy to sense all of this. This is something that is built in to human nature – it’s part of your survival skills. You’ll naturally want to be around positive energy and you’ll naturally pull away from negative energy.
The average person will have a mix of both because as humans, we have emotions, and as we encounter different energies, or different energetic frequencies, or own energy changes or fluctuates. Think of it as being happy, sad, excited, angry, loving, guarded, etc. Every emotion has its own energetic frequency and whilst it can sometimes FEEL like we are not in control of it, we actually are. We can consciously change how we feel. Now I’m not saying to ignore or try and push past every bit of negative or sad energy you feel. No – all those feelings need to be embraced, accepted and worked through. The key is understanding WHY you feel that way and acknowledge the emotion. Work through it, and if it’s something that you don’t want to keep feeling, allow yourself the time to move out of it. It’s like allowing yourself to grieve after the death of a loved one. You do it, but you don’t keep doing it forever. You take the time to grieve in whatever way you need to and then when you feel ready, you pick yourself up and move on. And you do this by finding the things that make you happy, and doing them.

Let me remind you that emotions are personal. No one can tell you how you should and shouldn’t feel. Ever. No one can tell you how you should feel after a “bad” encounter. You have every right to see things differently from the next person, and therefore, feel differently about a situation. Now I’m talking about the extremes where there’s something much deeper going on and you can’t or just don’t want to pull yourself out of negativity and feeling down. I’m talking about the every day stuff. The stuff that you let in, the stuff that you brush off, and the stuff that you embrace, every minute of every day.
So what’s my point to all of this? That this life you’re living, is YOURS to live. How you choose to live it is up to you. Who you choose to be around, is up to you. How beautiful you really are, on the inside is up to you. And let me make it clear: If you really embrace the good, the love, the positivity, into your very soul, then that beauty WILL radiate outwards. It will naturally draw in others who are either in that same frequency or who are on the journey to that frequency. Like brings in like. You can’t bring into your world something that isn’t already on your path. How you choose to live and be, is a choice only you can make, and you can make that choice every minute of every day. You can always change direction and you can always choose.
